It takes a little over an hour to read 10,000 words at 150 words per minute. This is considered slow. Fast is 325 words per minute and would take you 40 minutes, but I would assume you would want to absorb as much of the material as possible.

Considering the times that we’re living in, I feel that the importance of the Book of Revelation cannot be overstated. Therefore, the reason for this small booklet. Are there better works? More complete works? Definitely, but will we take the time to read them?

Revelation: Prophetic Addresses to the Seven Churches https://larrycockerham.com/books/revelation-prophetic-addresses-to-the-seven-churches/ https://larrycockerham.com/books/revelation-prophetic-addresses-to-the-seven-churches/#respond Wed, 13 Sep 2023 19:05:28 +0000 https://larrycockerham.com/?post_type=books&p=116 Originally published in 1995 this work focuses primarily on the seven churches of Revelation. These letters describe the conditions that existed during the time of John’s writing and were local assemblies located in Asia Minor. The letters reveal their representative nature as well as seven periods or ages existing from Pentecost till the end of the church era.

The association or parallelism between the seven churches and the seven parables of Matthew 13 plus the mysteries of the Bible are compared. Chapters concerning the long-awaited rapture of the church, the judgment seat of Christ and the marriage supper of the Lamb is explored. From there the church journeys to its final destination, the celestial city of the New Jerusalem.

Christ. Could our generation be the one that sees the
Rapture of the church and the final stages before the
return of Christ? These ten major signs are a strong
reminder that we could possibly be the generation
that experiences all of these things in the near future.

The Rapture https://larrycockerham.com/books/the-rapture/ https://larrycockerham.com/books/the-rapture/#respond Wed, 13 Sep 2023 18:37:06 +0000 https://larrycockerham.com/?post_type=books&p=107 In the “twinkling of an eye” – millions of people will disappear, which to the bewilderment of the anxious people left behind.Prophecy Expert, Larry Cockerham meticulously guides readers through the various stages of The Rapture in this insightful book. With explanations that are strongly backed up by Scripture from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, Cockerham illustrates the six stages and types of the Rapture, the Tribulation (a time of God’s wrath and judgement upon “them that dwell on the earth”), and how the Judgement of all souls is inevitable and impending; the souls of the true believers shall be saved, while the non-believers will face their doomed fate.“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2Co 5:10)

Christ’s Church is exempt from this Tribulation; its believers are metaphorically represented as the ‘bride’ and Christ is pictured as the ‘bridegroom’ who’s saving grace is waited upon with anticipation and devotion. The final stages follow the description of the Marriage of the Lamb, where Christ and the Church wed in a spiritual ceremony between the Rapture and the return of Christ to the earth. Then finally laying out the foundations of the Eternal Home, and how a believer shall gain entrance to The New Jerusalem and the grand plan of Salvation. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev. 21:1-2)
